Spin City Casino Review (Australia)

Spin City Casino (spin.city) is not available to Australians. Its own terms list Australia among the countries whose residents cannot play for real money.

Under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, offering online casino and slot services to people in Australia is prohibited. This page is for information only. On the brand itself, the main concern is regulation. The homepage still claims a Curaçao licence, but Curaçao's registry dated 2 October 2026 lists that licence as revoked as of 12 August 2026. We also found no local licence in Ontario, Germany or Portugal. The terms include several restrictive rules: a 10% fee if a deposit is not wagered 2× before withdrawal, caps of €5,000 per week and €15,000 per month, and an inactivity fee. Below we set out what the official documents show, where they contradict each other, and what we could not verify.

Our verdict

For Australian readers the practical answer is simple: the casino's terms exclude Australian residents, and federal law prohibits the service. Judged as a brand, Spin City Casino has a large multi-provider lobby, live dealer tables, crash and scratch games and a sports betting section. Withdrawals are processed every day of the week. The fundamentals are weaker. The licence it claims is listed as revoked, and we found no local licence in the three overseas markets we checked. The terms contain rules that can cost players money or delay access to it. Several official pages also contradict each other on basic figures. In a review about trustworthiness, those issues outweigh the size of the game library.

Pros

  • Large lobby: the counter shows 5,682 games, with sections for Megaways, Bonus Buy, crash, scratch and fruit games
  • Broad provider mix, including BGaming, Betsoft, Endorphina, Yggdrasil and Microgaming, plus live studios
  • Browser play on Android, iOS and Windows, plus an Android APK app
  • Withdrawals are processed daily, including weekends and public holidays, with a stated pending period of 0–48 hours
  • Crypto withdrawals (USDT, Bitcoin) are offered alongside bank transfer

Cons

  • Australia is on the terms' restricted-country list, and online casino services to Australians are prohibited under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001
  • The Curaçao licence is listed as revoked as of 12 Aug 2026, yet the homepage still claims it
  • Not listed with iGaming Ontario, the German GGL or the Portuguese SRIJ
  • A 10% fee applies if a deposit is not wagered 2× before withdrawal
  • Withdrawal caps of €5,000 per week and €15,000 per month; wins of €50,000 or more may be paid in 10 monthly instalments
  • Official pages contradict each other on the game count, bonus figures, support channels and company number
  • A €5 monthly inactivity fee applies after 12 months without logging in

Who runs Spin City Casino

The terms of service describe a two-company structure. A Curaçao company is the contracting party and holder of the gambling services, and a Cyprus subsidiary operates the website. We found no founding date in the official sources.

Site operatorFaro Entertainment Europe Limited12 Demostheni Severi Av., Office 601, 1080 Nicosia, Cyprus; Reg. No. ΗΕ 425912; VAT 10425912J

There is a discrepancy. The terms and the GCB certificate page both give Faro Entertainment N.V.'s company number as 142227. The October 2026 Curaçao registry entry for the same licence shows company number 139031. The only terms we could read are a February 2025 PDF, so we cannot tell whether they are still current.

spin.city homepageStill states the casino holds an online gambling licence from the government of Curaçao

Taken together, the official record shows that the Curaçao licence the casino points to is no longer active, and the homepage claim has not been updated. A secondary source reports licences held by Limitex Ltd (Tobique) and Ascenda International SRL (Anjouan, ALSI-202507003-FI1). We could not confirm either on an official register, so we do not treat them as established.

The Australian position

In Australia, the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 prohibits online casino and slot services being provided to Australians, and prohibits advertising them. ACMA is the regulator responsible. Spin City Casino's own terms also exclude Australian residents from real-money play. We did not check ACMA's records for this brand, so we make no statement about any action taken against it.

Local licences in the markets we checked

  • Ontario: Spin City does not appear on the iGaming Ontario operator list (accurate as of 1 Sep 2026), even though spin.city runs a Canadian (/en-ca) version.
  • Germany: Spin City does not appear on the GGL whitelist of permitted operators.
  • Portugal: Spin City does not appear on the SRIJ list of licensed entities.

Country restrictions

Clause 2.1.4 of the terms excludes residents of many countries from real-money play. Named countries include Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, the Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK and the US. Provider-level blocks sit on top of this:

  • Clause 17.6: NetEnt games are blocked in Canada, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, Australia and other countries.
  • Clause 17.8: NetEnt Universal Games are not allowed in Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia, Sweden and other countries.

Cyprus is on the restricted list even though the site operator is registered there. We did not test how access is enforced.

Games and providers

The game library is the casino's strongest area, but even the headline number is inconsistent. The Top Picks counter shows "All (5,682)" games, while text on the same page says more than 1,500. We cannot confirm which reflects the live catalogue. A fuller breakdown is on our games overview.

Lobby sections

  • Curated: Top Games, New Games, Popular
  • Slots (pokies), plus dedicated Bonus Buy, Megaways and Fruits sections
  • Live Casino
  • Instant (crash) games
  • Table Games
  • Scratch cards

  • Sports Betting

Table games and live casino

The RNG table section covers blackjack, baccarat, roulette, poker and Andar Bahar. The live casino offers baccarat, roulette, poker and Wheel of Fortune, streamed in HD. No live table limits are published in the sources we reviewed. See our live casino page for more.

Mobile play

According to the casino, the site runs in the browser on Android, iOS and Windows devices. A native app exists for Android only, distributed as an APK file rather than through an app store. There is no iOS app; the casino suggests a home-screen shortcut for iPhone and iPad instead. An app distributed outside the official stores is not reviewed by Google or Apple.

Payments

The banking setup is lopsided: many deposit options are listed, but withdrawals are limited to bank transfer or crypto. The casino does not publish processing times per method or maximum deposits. The table below lists the methods named on the site, for reference only.

Bonus terms

We do not promote offers, and none apply to Australian residents, who are excluded by the terms. We summarise the bonus rules only because they show how consistent and fair the casino's documentation is.

Conflicting figures

The bonus page tiles show the 3rd deposit tier as 100%, while text on the same page gives 75%. The bonus page text states a 10 EUR minimum deposit, whereas the homepage ties its first-deposit offer to €20 or more and lists a separate 60% tier for a €15 deposit. Eligibility by country is not published.

General bonus rules

  • 40× wagering unless stated otherwise
  • €5 maximum bet while playing with bonus money
  • Free spins expire after 7 days
  • The no-deposit bonus is valid for 7 days and limited to one per new player
  • No-deposit winnings are capped at €50 and require one deposit before withdrawal
  • Live, table and video poker games do not count towards wagering; some slots count 70% or 50%
  • Bonuses cannot be stacked

Cashback and loyalty

The cashback page describes 5% weekly cashback (Friday to Friday, credited only if at least €5), or a boosted 6% carrying 15× wagering. The VIP club lists Celebrity, Superstar and Icon tiers, while the homepage names Lord as the top loyalty status. The site does not explain how the two relate.

Customer support

  • Homepage: support day and night via live chat and email
  • Languages listed: English, German, Polish, Danish and Russian
  • About page: 24/7 live chat, phone and email
  • Not visible in our research: the actual support email address and phone number

Live chat is the only channel both pages agree on. We could not identify an independent regulator for escalating unresolved complaints. See our support page.

Account terms worth knowing

  • Inactivity: after 12 months without logging in, a fee of €5 per month applies.
  • Verification: extra checks may apply once total withdrawals pass €2,000, and requested documents must arrive within 14 days.
  • Card checks: a €1 authorisation hold for 1–3 business days may be used to verify cards.
  • Large wins: €50,000 or more may be paid in 10 monthly instalments rather than at once.

Responsible gambling

Gambling is for adults 18+ only. The sources we reviewed do not document the casino's own limit or self-exclusion tools, and without an active licence we cannot point to regulator-backed protections. If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, free and confidential support is available 24/7 from Gambling Help Online at www.gamblinghelponline.org.au or on 1800 858 858. How we assessed Spin City Casino

This review is based on the casino's own pages (homepage, bonus, cashback, VIP, providers and About pages), its terms of service PDF, the Curaçao GCB certificate page and registries, and the public operator lists in Ontario, Germany and Portugal. We did not open a real-money account, so we report no test deposits or withdrawals. Gaps that remain:

  • Current licence status beyond the Curaçao revocation
  • Whether the February 2025 terms are still in force
  • How access restrictions are enforced in practice
  • Processing times per payment method and maximum deposits
  • Which of the conflicting bonus figures applies
