Before you install: licence and access caveats for Canada
Licence status
The terms name Faro Entertainment N.V. (Curaçao) as the company behind the service and Faro Entertainment Europe Limited (Cyprus) as the site operator. They refer to Curaçao licence OGL/2024/194/0642. However, the Curaçao registry dated October 2, 2026 lists that licence as revoked as of August 12, 2026, at the operator's request. The homepage still says the casino holds a Curaçao licence. In Canada, online gambling is regulated provincially: in Ontario through the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, elsewhere through provincial lottery corporations. Spin City does not appear on the iGaming Ontario operator list (as of September 1, 2026). We did not check other provinces' registries. It is also absent from the German GGL whitelist and the Portuguese SRIJ list. An app doesn't change any of this: the app and the website are the same service. Country and game restrictions
Canada is not named in the terms' list of countries barred from real-money play. That list includes Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK and the US, among many others. However, clause 17.6 blocks NetEnt games in Canada. The site has a Canadian (/en-ca) version, but that is not the same as a provincial licence.
